Code of Conduct

Our general Code of Conduct is simply spreading the charity of Christ through the example of one's faith, gnosis and self-sacrifice. There are, however, some basic points which we consider important to follow.

    • I will not charge money for sacramental services including ordination.
    • I understand that I have a right to earn a salary and take up fees for teaching, lecturing, counseling, or any other professional services related to spiritual work if I so choose, or that I may raise funds for charitable causes as part of my spiritual work, but that my vocation in Holy Orders will remain unpaid.
    • I promise never to take personal advantage of my role in Apostolic orders to gain power, status, or psychological control over others.
    • I will support and encourage the development of others who join me with a sincere desire to attain to personal gnosis and eventual reintegration.
    • I will not dishonor the Church or any of my Sisters and Brothers by committing a crime.
    • I will not physically or emotionally abuse or violate human beings, animals, or other living things.
    • I will not engage in any activity contrary to accepted ethical standards, such as lying or deceit.
    • I will not passively allow any of the above or any other evils to go unchallenged.
    • I will not make or distribute copies of copyrighted materials or engage in any activity in the name of the Church or her affiliated bodies without written permission from my Bishop, although I may show such materials to interested persons, unless otherwise under obligation.
    • I will love, honor, obey, and bless the One Reality and Godhead that is the source and origin of all being.
    • I will honor that Reality in all other beings, religions, cultures, and expressions.
    • I will strive for self-evolution and loving service for the benefit of all beings.
    • I will strive to develop and maintain daily and other regular spiritual practices and rituals.
    • I will develop my heart’s ability to love, understand, and empathize in all circumstances so that my personal “I” becomes the collective “we.”
    • I will abide by the policies and procedures outlined for me as part of Aisthésis Internationale.
